Luke 15

In Luke 15, Jesus tells the story of the lost sheep. A shepherd has a hundred sheep, and one of them gets lost. So he leaves the ninety-nine to go find the one. When he finds it, he shouts with joy:

"Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep."

In this story Jesus is the shepherd, and the ninety-nine are the people who already know him. The lost one, that's the person Jesus is searching for. The person he's celebrating when they're found.
